Santa Fe 2009 – Chicago Layover

On Easter Sunday Mark, Russ and Rich boarded the Amtrak
train (Capitol Limited) in Rockville, MD. Arriving in Chicago for a seven hour layover,
the weather was less than ideal -- rain, cold with a wind chill in the high 20's.
At 3:30 PM they boarded a connection (Southwest Chief) to Lamy, NM,
where Mark's sister, Susan, met them and took them to her home in Santa Fe.
