This

Reservoir. Prettyboy Reservoir is located in northern Baltimore County,
Md., on Falls Road, 22 mi/35 km NNW of Baltimore; 9 MI/14.5 km long;
39°37'N 76°42'W. Formed by Prettyboy Dam (concrete; 167 ft/51
m high, 845 ft/258 m long), built (1933) for Baltimore water supply.
Gunpowder Falls State Park is located below the dam, to the east.

The
Gunpowder Falls is formed by outflow of Prettyboy Reservoir, and is
one of the premier tailwater
trout streams in the Mid-Atlantic region. Limitation: catch and return
only mainstream from Prettyboy Dam downstream to Bluemount Road, artificial
flies only. The following areas are Put-And-Take; mainstream from Corbett
Road downstream to the hiker/biker bridge located approximately one
mile downstream of Phoenix Road; and from Cromwell Bridge downstream
